I’m lucky I get to travel for work – a lot! But if you know me, you’ll know I’m relentless about keeping my routines the same when traveling. Personally, I sometimes like the convenience of staying at a hotel close to the TravelPerk hub I am visiting. But other times, especially if I am staying somewhere for longer, I love to stay somewhere unique with more space and all the home comforts like kitchen facilities.

Today, we announce yet another milestone in our inventory and customer support. I’m proud to share that TravelPerk has formally partnered with Airbnb to offer more flexible corporate travel solutions to our customers.

What does this mean for customers?

Travelers have diverse needs, and to stay ahead of the competition, we must continue to grow our platform and provide seamless access to the widest and most relevant accommodation options, including top-tier inventory that meets their business travel requirements. 

That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Airbnb and give our customers Managed Access to its extensive inventory of over 8 million active listings across 100,000 cities worldwide. Through this partnership, our customers will benefit from dedicated Airbnb booking management support and enhanced customer service via a dedicated support line provided by us.

Longer stay options for project-based professionals

This new partnership will address the growing demand for longer stays (28+ days) with unique homestay options at various price points and with valuable amenities and home comforts for remote work.

There’s a real life case study of how business travel serves areas you may not first expect – wind turbines. Endiprev, the international wind turbine service provider, relies on long term stay options for their employees.

Carla Gabriel, Logistic Manager at Endiprev, said: “Travel is essential to our work. Our global operations mean we have engineers constantly on the road to perform maintenance, testing and commissioning of wind turbines and wind-related equipment, both onshore and offshore. A large part of our travel is due to the secondment of engineers, specialists and technicians who provide advice and assistance to clients directly on site. Big bookings to get teams connecting

Managed Access to Airbnb listings also further bolsters TravelPerk’s MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) and group bookings offering, as demand continues to grow for off-sites and social events that bring hybrid workforces together in person. Last year’s Value of Business Travel report found 43% of business travel admins said their company’s travel budget is used to boost employee social experience through offsites and get-togethers.
