Introducing the new TravelPerk — a new brand rooted in disruption

Ten years ago, TravelPerk set out on a mission to disrupt the business travel sector. 
When people traveled for leisure, they had all the freedom they needed in a market packed with user-friendly apps, experiences, and services.
Switch to ‘work mode’ though, and things got complicated. Restricted to just a handful of options, wasting hours fighting with clunky apps and websites, and left with little to no support on the road. 
So, our goal in 2015 was clear — to give people the same freedom and ease when traveling for work as they get elsewhere. All while giving companies the level of control they needed to manage employee travel without adding more work (and costs!) to their plate.
It’s been a lot of fun doing it, too. Today, a booking is made on TravelPerk every 5 seconds, supported by 7-star customer care in French, English, German and Spanish.
But when you’re in the business of disruption, you need to be able to disrupt yourself. And that’s exactly what we’re doing today with a bold new rebrand for TravelPerk.
And while things may look different than they did yesterday, rest assured everything is working exactly as it should. All your trips, travel policies, expenses, and everything else you’re managing in TravelPerk is exactly how it was before. 

The world is changing. And so are we

So, why change now? First, the business travel industry has moved on since 2015.
Work today is almost unrecognizable from a decade ago. Hybrid work models have upended both where and how we work, and genuine human connection has taken on an even greater importance. 
And travel is an important part of facilitating that connection, for all kinds of workers. Just take a look at who’s booking in TravelPerk and you’ll find everyone from builders to bankers, executives to engineers, scientists to sales managers and more.
Those travelers’ expectations have changed, too. In a world of Amazon Prime, Netflix, and Uber Eats, people today expect the kind of service they have in their personal lives when they’re at work. So we're making it happen.
Last year, we took a step back and looked long and hard at the industry, our customers, and ourselves, to ask how we can continue to make good on our founding promise.
And if you’ve been following what we’ve been up to over the last 12 months, you’ll know we’ve changed a few things.
First, we acquired AmTrav. It expanded our offering in the US by partnering with customer-obsessed travel experts who shared our view for how technology can transform the way people travel for work.
Then earlier this year we acquired Yokoy, Europe’s leading expense management solution, so we can start delivering the single, unified Travel & Expense management experience that companies need today.

Meet the new TravelPerk

Now, we’re redefining our brand identity to better reflect where, how and why people travel for work and to bring our promise to the world to make travel and expenses simpler and smarter.
So you can expect to see a few more changes, starting today. 
We’re breaking away from the sea of blue that’s become a cliche in the apps we use at work. 
We’re saying goodbye to the days when business travel only had one look. 
And we’re steering clear of the jargon and corporate speak that gets in the way of genuine human interaction.

In its place, we’re rolling out a vibrant new colour palette, a new, simplified design ethos, and conversational (dare we say it, even human) tone. All designed to reflect the reality of travel for work today.
You’ll see it everywhere across TravelPerk, from our apps to our website, in our marketing campaigns, and even in the local TravelPerk office hubs.
It’s who we are, and who we aspire to be. But it’s also our commitment to you, our customers. 
It’s a daily reminder to continue to disrupt, shake things up, and to develop technology that makes life easier whether you’re the one traveling for work, managing company travel policies, or signing off the expenses.
That’s TravelPerk in 2025 and beyond — simpler, smarter, and for everyone.
We’re certainly not afraid to change, and this is just the next step on our journey to a brand that will last 100 years. I can’t wait to see what’s coming down the track as we continue the transformation of the TravelPerk brand.
