Let’s clear up the confusion around duty of care and travel risk management.It’s not uncommon to hear people say things like “If only we’d been better at our duty of care, we could’ve saved the company and our employees so much trouble” or “Not every country in the world expects companies to comply with travel risk management.”In these examples, the terms duty of care and travel risk management are used interchangeably, which is incorrect. It’s a simple semantic trap that’s easy to fall into.
